Three Bears Porridge

Time: 5 mins


  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup oats
  • brown sugar
  • milk, to serve


  • 1 Combine water and oats in medium saucepan over a medium heat. Cook, stirring about 5 minutes or until porridge is thick and creamy.
  • 2 Place in bowl.
  • 3 Add a bit of milk so it goes around the edges and covers slightly.
  • 4 Sprinkle with brown sugar (the more the better).
  • 5 Place the brown sugar on table and let kids add if you trust them.
  • 6 If you want a creamier porridge make with milk instead of water.
