Low Fat Ham and Cheese Strata

Time: 1 hrs

Ingredients

  • 10 -12 ounces crusty Italian bread
  • 1 cup lean ham
  • 1 cup low-fat cheese
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 2 cups low-fat milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 egg whites
  • 3 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • salt and pepper

Directions

  • 1 PREHEAT oven to 180 degrees F.
  • 2 COAT Baking dish with cooking spray.
  • 3 WHISK eggs and egg whites together
  • 4 POUR over cubed crusty bread in dish.
  • 5 ADD all other ingredients.
  • 6 BAKE for 40 - 45 minutes.
  • 7 ENJOY!
  • 8 NOTE: I cubed the ham and crusty bread and shredded the cheese.
