Breaded Fried Cube Steak and Milk Gravy

Ingredients

  • 4 cube steaks
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Season-All salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/3 cup cooking oil

Directions

  • 1 In a bowl beat milk with eggs.
  • 2 In another bowl mix flour, salt and pepper.
  • 3 Dip steak in milk and egg mixture.
  • 4 Then dip in flour mixture.
  • 5 Coat steak well with flour mixture.
  • 6 Heat oil in skillet (not too hot).
  • 7 Add steak to skillet and cook til brown.
  • 8 Remove to plate with paper towel.
  • 9 Milk Gravy.
  • 10 Melt butter in saucepan.
  • 11 Add flour and stir well.
  • 12 Add milk and stir until bubbly.
  • 13 Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • 14 Gravy will thicken as it boils.
  • 15 Serve over steak and mashed potatoes.
