Bacon Chicken Alfredo Fettuccine

Ingredients

  • 1 (16 ounce) package fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb bacon, sliced and diced
  • 1 1/4 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts, cubed
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 (16 ounce) jar prepared alfredo sauce
  • 1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and sqeezed dry
  • 1/2 teaspoon italian seasoning
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

Directions

  • 1 Cook fettuccine according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large skillet cook bacon over medium heat until crisp. Remove from pan using a slotted spoon. Set in on paper towels to soak up the grease and drain the skillet reserving 3 tablespoons of drippings.
  • 2 Season the chicken with salt and pepper. Cook chicken in the bacon drippings over medium high heat until juices run clear.
  • 3 Drain fettuccine, stir into skillet with the chicken. Add the Alfredo sauce, spinach, Italian seasoning, and bacon.
  • 4 Cook and stir occasionally until heated through.
  • 5 Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
