Hot Fudge Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 (12 ounce) can evaporated milk
  • 1 (12 ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon butter or 1 tablespoon margarine
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions

  • 1 Place milk, chocolate chips and sugar in a medium saucepan.
  • 2 Heat to boiling over medium heat, stirring constantly.
  • 3 Remove from heat, and stir in butter and vanilla (sauce will thicken while it is cooling).
  • 4 Serve warm over ice cream.
