Balsamic Rib-Eye Steak With Bleu Cheese Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup red wine (merlot is nice in this)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 4 rib eye steaks
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese

Directions

  • 1 Combine 1st four ingredients in a ziploc bag or shallow pan.
  • 2 Add steaks to marinade.
  • 3 Marinate for 1-2 hours, turning steaks in marinade frequently.
  • 4 Grill steaks to desire doneness.
  • 5 I grill for 3-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare/medium doneness.
  • 6 While steaks are grilling, combine vinegar and bleu cheese to a creamy consistency.
  • 7 Serve sauce as a condiment to steaks.
